WILFRED THE WIZARD

With a box full of magic and an evening full of fun for the laughter loving Wilfred, the Wizard, one of the most popular lyceum entertainers in the country, will appear at the Opera House on January 27 under the auspices of the Radcliffe Bureau, presenting a highly novel and diverting program.

Assisted by O’Komo, the mysterious Japanese, and by a skillful musical director, the magician will conduct his audience through a wonder- maze, as surprising as it is interesting and amusing.  The most profound secrets of the Oriental black art will be brought into play.  Strange appearances and disappearances will follow one another with baffling rapidity.  Out of nothingness Wilfred brings a cartload of curious objects, and then sends them vanishing back into nothingness.  There will be something new in the manipulation of coins, cards, hand balls and other objects, and a hundred and one other tricks too quick for the eye.  Music and ventriloquism will agreeably vary the program at intervals.

There is every prospect of a large attendance.  The sale of tickets up to this time has been very good and the demand from now on will be even heavier.
