AT THE NEW OPERA HOUSE

Polk Miller and the Clansmen will Play at Crowded House

The new opera house will give its initial performance on Monday night of next week, September 14, 1908.

Polk Miller, the famous storyteller, is already well known to many of our people and the mere announcement that he and his Old South quartette of genuine plantation negroes are to appear should be sufficient.  It is to be a venitable evening of song and story and no one in reach of Albemarle should miss the performances.  Buy your seats at once and have them reserved.

Ad: Coming! Polk Miller, The Famous Story Teller and his Negro Quartette Will Appear at the Opera House Monday Night September 14.  Two hours of side splitting stories.  Good old times in Dixie.  Tickets on sale at F.E. Starnes Jewelry Store.  Price 25 cents, 35 cents and 50 cents.
